The Yellow House is a thoughtfully renovated 1850’s salt box house quietly situated on the southern shore of Newfoundland’s Avalon Peninsula yet only 45 minutes from St John’s International Airport.

The house is in the settlement of Tors Cove (population 325 when everyone is at home) and has stunning views of the ocean and rocky shoreline. It is comfortably furnished for five people. The bright blue front door opens directly on to the East Coast Hiking Trail – one of Newfoundland’s many hidden gems. The Yellow House is the only holiday rental in the settlement and offers a rare opportunity to become a welcome visitor rather than a tourist.
