Accommodation
The living room (14ft x 16ft) faces east and has views over the deck to the ocean beyond. The sofa and chairs are perfect for relaxing and watching the ever-changing spectacle in the bay. There is a cosy wood burning stove in the living room for cool evenings as well as electric heating.
The whole of the downstairs is open plan and feels spacious and inviting.
Outside are decks and outdoor furniture where you can enjoy whale and puffin spotting (not to mention icebergs gliding by) through the handsome telescope or just put your feet up and watch the spectacular skies.
Upstairs you will find the spacious master bedroom (20ft x 14ft) which has a queen size bed and four large windows that face east over the ocean.
The second bedroom (9ft x 12ft) has a double bed and views over the quirky roofs of the settlement. There is a well appointed full bathroom upstairs and a two piece bathroom downstairs. A two-seater sofa makes into a single bed in a secluded alcove (8ft x 14ft) at the end of the study.
Bed linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen (8ft x 18ft) is extremely well equipped with a dishwasher and a separate pantry/laundry room with washer and dryer as well as a large selection of cooking appliances. There is an adjoining dining area with table and chairs.
For those who can’t quite leave the Blackberry at home, there is a wireless internet connection. Cable TV is also provided. There is a telephone. Please use a phone card for long distance calls.
There are two small convenience stores just a hop, skip and jump away where you can pick up newspapers, milk, cornflakes, beer and basics. Ten minutes drive will bring you to a well stocked supermarket at Bay Bulls.
